I’m Shannon, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Surry Hills, offering both in-person and online counselling for adolescents and adults.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and grounded in the belief that each person’s experience is unique, and that therapy needs to reflect this. Rather than a ‘one-size-fits-all’ way of working, I take an integrative approach, tailoring support to the needs of each person I work with.
I aim to offer a relational and inclusive space where you feel met with curiosity and openness, with a deep respect for your lived experience, including experiences that are painful, complex, or hard to put into words.
At the heart of my practice is the understanding that our relationship to ourselves and others is fundamental to our wellbeing, and that the therapeutic relationship can provide a safe and creative space where meaningful understanding develops, and new ways of being can emerge.
I’ve seen and experienced how therapy can support shifts that feel significant and lasting, and I would love to be the one to support you in this process.
